Mr. President, do you hold your hand over your heart?

Michael Moore: As the attack took place, Mr. Bush was on his way to an elementary school in Florida. When informed of the first plane hitting the world trade center, where terrorists had struck just eight years prior, Mr. Bush decided to go ahead with his photo opportunity.
When the second plane hit the tower, his chief of staff entered the classroom and told Mr. Bush the nation is under attack.
Not knowing what to do, with no one telling him what to do, and with no secret service rushing in to take him to safety, Mr. Bush just sat there, and continued to read "My Pet Goat" with the children.
Nearly seven minutes passed with nobody doing anything.

Great blog, great photos all around :) Love this place.

However, in defense of Bush... I AM A MOTHER, I've BEEN in a classroom of great kids.

If you're the PRESIDENT and you are IN A ROOM OF BABIES, you would TAKE MORE THAN a few seconds to fathom and register in your mind how you will react to an ATTACK ON THE USA...

Bush is a father, a diplomat, and was on FREAKING TV... It takes a minute.

Keep up the good work here, and thanks for visiting Blah Blah Blog - The Soap Box
